context:

And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.” “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me,but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.” “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Revelation 22:6-15

Note: Today is the last daily post of the tenth year of this blog, or the 3653rd post (365×10 + 3 leap days in 2024, 2020, and 2016). The first post was April 26, 2014. I have prepared posts through the end of this month because I wanted to complete Revelation 19-22 that I had begun.

Starting May 1, all updated content will be on my new blog, A Certain Day. In addition to digital scrapbook layouts, posts will include Bible passage and worship song lyrics videos, in-depth articles (as time allows), Bible passages with a coordinated graphic, and (eventually) stylized verses without scrapbook elements (think subway or chalk art style – and maybe I still will decorate them with elements – who knows?)

I made Rumble channels with the Bible passage and worship lyric videos I’ve made (about 25 lyrics and 7 Bible passages so far). You can find those here. I started with songs that I couldn’t find lyrics videos for. As time permits, I will make others to replace the ones I have found videos for, but they have issues like spelling typos, errors in the lyrics, lyrics that come up too late, overly distracting backgrounds, etc.

For more in-depth content, I have written a LOT of articles on my blog, Clothe Yourselves. I have many started articles and ideas for others, but I haven’t posted anything recently. Additionally, I have a blog called We Implore You that features Bible passages along with a separate graphic. That blog was paused for almost four years, but the content has been imported to the new blog and new posts are ready to go.

In any event, there are many resources out there to help us stay focused on the Bible and on Jesus. I’m not trying to compete with them, but I do try to make sure that everything I post is biblically accurate and includes related verses/context. Previously, I had a static collection of content from all 3 blogs on my “catch-all” site, A Certain Day. That site will remain there (still static), but it does have links to all 3 older blogs and the new blog.

Thanks so much for visiting. It’s been a pleasure to make these daily pages all of these years, and I hope that they were enjoyable to view/read. God’s blessings!
